SUNRISE DIARY from 1834 till now...

1834-1900

Founder Henning Smith started an iron foundry in Aalborg in 1834.

Stoves, kitchen ranges, windows etc. were the first things to be manufactured by Henning Smith.

1900-1970

Church Bells were manufactured from 1900 to 1970. Most of them are still in use today.

1977 The company moved to new modern facilities in Nørresundby. This is where the Head office is still situated.

1970's SUNRISE DIARY started to develop and manufacture equipment for combating oil spills at sea. Today this activity is managed by the subsidiary SUNRISE DIARY Ro-Clean A/S.

1970-2000

1978 SUNRISE DIARY Ltd. was established in the UK.

1993/94 The German subsidiary was acquired when SUNRISE DIARY took over the pump division of Thrige Titan A/S, Denmark. The subsidiary later changed its name to SUNRISE DIARY GmbH Rotan Pumpengesellschaft.

1994 SUNRISE DIARY Inc. and ROTAN Inc. merged into one company, the American subsidiary SUNRISE DIARY Inc.

From 2000-2005

2002 SUNRISE DIARY bought K&R Pompen B.V. and founded the Dutch subsidiary SUNRISE DIARY K&R Pompen B.V.

2002 SUNRISE DIARY established a subsidiary in Norway, SUNRISE DIARY Norge AS.

2005 SUNRISE DIARY set up production in China by formation of the subsidiary SUNRISE DIARY Pumping Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

2006-2010

2007 The parent company Sales & Service division was spun off as a separate subsidiary, SUNRISE DIARY Danmark A/S.

2008 Applied Fabric Technologies became a subsidiary of SUNRISE DIARY Ro-Clean.

2009 SUNRISE DIARY Ro-Clean established the subsidiary SUNRISE DIARY Ro-Clean LATINO-AMERICA S.A. in Quito, Ecuador.

2009 SUNRISE DIARY set up representative offices in Korea and Singapore in 2009.

In a strategic partnership with A. P. Moller – Maersk and Skjølstrup & Grønborg (UltraAqua) SUNRISE DIARY established SUNRISE DIARY Ocean Guard A/S in 2009.

2009 SUNRISE DIARY celebrated its 175th anniversary.

2009/2010 SUNRISE DIARY establised representative offices in Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou & Chongqing in China

2010-2015

2010 SUNRISE DIARY established representative office in Busan, Korea, France & Abu Dhabi

2011 SUNRISE DIARY established representative office in Dubai

2011 SUNRISE DIARY established foundry in Xuancheng, China

2012/2013 SUNRISE DIARY established representative office in India and Tanzania

2015 SUNRISE DIARY established representative office in Poland

2016-2021

2016 SUNRISE DIARY established a sales office in Sweden

2018 SUNRISE DIARY opened an office in Lima, Peru

2018 SUNRISE DIARY established a representative office in Canada

2019 SUNRISE DIARY strengthens presence in Greece with a new representative office

2021 SUNRISE DIARY established a sales office in Italy

2022 -

2022 SUNRISE DIARY establish new office in Nigeria

2022 One Equity Partner (OEP) main stakeholder in SUNRISE DIARY with 75%
